Living The Afterglow !!~1~!!

6th June 6 00 AM

TRrrrriNNNNgggggggg……. The alarm continued tringing, the hands dint move, the body remained senseless as it had been for past 8 hours…the only sign tat made him look alive was the frequent expansion and lowering of his chest!!

6 03 AM

The hands attain movement and it is leisurely raised to turn off the blaring alarm!! The movement seizes soon after….

7 15 AM

“Rrrooooonnnnnn!!!! Wake up…!!! Its time!! R u planning to miss ur bus again??” ; These shouts traveled past the kitchen, thru the living room; past the locked up door and piercing the ear drums of ronny like a sharp dagger ; and eventually woke him up!!!
“Holy shit!!…the alarm fools me again!!”…he exclaimed!!!...Ronny was always like tat; irresponsible; pampered ; careless were all his adjectives!!! Nevertheless, he was smart, unsophisticated, kiddish, lovable, and immature!! He had never been serious in life; or for tat matter he had never been confronted by any situation tat demanded him to be serious…he lived his life in a fairy land!!! He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth!!!

6th June 6 00 AM

The wind blows past the fields; the chill is high!! As the sun starts changing its tinge from the flushed to the more fierce yellow; beauty wakes up!! Her eyes blink for a second; then she closes them tight, slowly getting up, she recites her morning prayer…!!!

6 30 AM

The water is boiling and awaiting the arrival of those flecks of “hojas de te’”;the intermingle of the two tat made the perfect beverage!! Her hair is still wet; she sneezes twice in a row; wondering who was thinking of her at such a time of the day; as she finished making her favourite drink…Two steps from the kitchen the lamp glows in front of the visual rendering of the Supreme!!! The only sound tat broke the hush; were the snores of her sleeping parents!!!
Renita was always like tat; Innocent; god-fearing; responsible; short tempered defined her perfectly!!! However she always felt insecure in life and she constantly looked up at god to point her north!!! Above all she was gorgeous; beautiful in looks and in mind!!! Just about the perfect girl who would win away hearts!!!


9 AM
The students are buzzing around…!!! The atmosphere is vibrant…just about the busiest hours in college!! Every spot in college is full of activity; people completing assignments and notes; preparing for seminars; birthday bumps being given in one corner; couples still flirting and being blind to time; everyone seemed overflowing with energy…everyone except Renita. She was as usual pre-occupied; lost in her own world…People termed her reserved; it was just tat she was silent and wearing a false image of being an introvert!!!

9 15 AM

Drenching in sweat; all shabby; having a perfect “bad hair day” ron rushes towards the college gates…He had got used to this…missing college bus…waiting in the scorching sun for that “special” bus tat had always been so hospitable to him…and then dashing nearly 2 kms; each time wishing he had retaliated to the alarm; and then finding himself missing the 1st hour attendance!!!

Ron takes his usual path sideways to the college canteen; jumping the “Lovers stones”; speeding thru the side stairs; past the College library and suddenly he stops…time was flying by; he was getting delayed than usual; but his legs were reluctant to budge…His eyeballs were not moving; his eyes were unwilling to blink; his line of vision was fixed on her…He wondered who she was…”Angel” his heart replied!!!...
Renita was finding it strenuous to carry the pile of books; she shifted the load from her left to right hand as she took a look at her watch…She then briskly walked past Ron; who was still mesmerized; not even having a glance at him!!!
The sense of time slapped Ron then!!!...He got his pace back and as he was getting into his block; he scanned the area with the corner of his eyes for any traces of her; but to no avail!!!
